Learn crucial skills

to land your first job in tech.

Our students come from all walks of life; no professional tech experience is required, just a desire to learn!

The curriculum is not completely introductory to tech, but if you’re a natural problem solver who already feels comfortable with technology, you’d be a great fit for our program. Are you your family’s go-to for troubleshooting or tech advice? Did you love crafting custom MySpace skins back in the day? Do you enjoy flexing your critical thinking skills? Have you studied philosophy or music? Apply today!

Choose a learning pathway

Incoming students complete an Intro to Programming course that teaches programming basics, and helps them choose a learning pathway that best fits their interests and career goals in tech. Each pathway consists of four modules with job preparedness assistance along the way.

Learning Pathways

  • Web Development with JavaScript

Learn how to build, create, and maintain websites. Front-end developers craft the look and feel of a website that is visible to the end user.

  • Data Analysis with Python

Use raw data to find trends and answer questions. You’ll learn crucial Python and SQL skills necessary for advanced analytics.

  • Software Development with C#

In this pathway, you’ll learn how to create a computer program that completes a specific task or set of tasks.

  • Apply Today

Eligible applicants will be contacted about two months before each session to learn more about the pathways and to complete online pre-work required to gain admittance. We’ll host a virtual orientation before your session begins to tell you more about what to expect. Please note, we have a waiting list, so it may be several months before you hear from us. Be sure to whitelist the @codekentucky.org domain to receive our messages in your inbox.

  • Learn to Code

Every day, hundreds of high-demand tech jobs go unfilled. Employers are looking for candidates with an ability to code, not necessarily a college degree. We’re here to help you learn, connect you with other tech enthusiasts, and keep you encouraged on the path to success. Our staff will help with resume writing, interviewing, and other job prep tools to help you succeed.

  • Launch Your New Career!

We build relationships with local, regional, and remote employers who are looking for candidates with your skill set. Along with the job preparedness tools offered by our team, we’ll connect you with mentors who are experienced developers and can give you an inside look into what it takes to work in tech.
